The picture is very clear. I love that it automatically turns the picture on when she makes a noise. The temperature gauge is easy to read plus helpful and the monitor holds its charge well! I only charge it every couple of days. I also like the walk-in talkie aspect. BUT it goes offline A LOT and makes this loud beeping noise which startles my baby if I’m too close to her room. I only go downstairs one floor and sometimes I just go across the hall and it still looses connection. That part is VERY ANNOYING. I’m trying to figure out how to turn it down or the beeping off. It connects again quickly but it just beeps over and over and over. It’s good for the price. That’s really my only complaint but it’s pretty bad. In my 20 second video it beeps three times. As soon as I turned the video off, it did more almost immediately.
If you want a baby monitor that doesn't connect to WIFI this one is great
The battery life has been pretty great so far but I frequently plug it back into power instinctually anyway. The range has been great in and around our home. I've been able to bring the monitor with me outside for yardwork, in the basement for laundry, etc. and the signal has remained great. The automatic night vision is fantastic and I'd say the clarity in general of the image is really great - perfect for our needs. We haven't used the lullaby settings much, but there are a bunch of lullabies to choose from (8 or so?).
I bought this monitor for my second child instead purchasing a second camera for the first monitor I have because it was cheaper. I'm glad I did. Overall the monitor is smaller and the picture quality (day and night) is much better.
The range works anywhere in our house and even out on the porch--it doesn't go much further than that. The screen is clear enough; I can generally see what my son is up to but the details aren't great. The battery life isn't great anymore.
